What is it?
SPMU (semi-permanent make-up), also known as Cosmetic tattooing is where pigment is deposited into the skin through various techniques to replace the need of daily make-up whilst providing shape, colour and definition.
Areas that are treated within my clinic is eyebrows, eyeliner and lips.
SPMU is waterproof, smudge-proof, sweatproof and can last years (varies due to individual client's skin and lifestyle)
Colour boosts are recommended every 12-24months to enhance and refresh the colour and shape
Who can have it?
You must be aged 18 and above - I.D may be requested
You must be medically fit - this will be checked during booking process
Powder/Ombre brows are carried out using a tattoo machine to deposit the pigment into the skin. This method is best to fill gaps, add shape and colour whilst replacing the use of make up.
Powder brows can be soft and natural or darker and bolder - the shape and style would be discussed during the treatment.

As we age the lip border starts to fade out (this can also happen to lips with filler as they stretch). Lip tattooing is an amazing treatment for defining the lip shape and boosting the colour, giving you back full lush lips.
Colour is a personal choice, some may want to match their natural lip colour or some may want to match their favourite lippy, though I will guide you throughout to choose a colour best suited to your lip and skin tones.
The technique used here in the clinic is called lip blush, this provides an even wash of colour throughout the lips giving a lip tint affect, meaning you can just add some gloss or balm and go!
Don't worry though, you can still apply an alterative lip stick over the top when need be.
